Integrated Care Under One Roof

At Complete Balance, your treatment plan may involve one or several therapies. Our practitioners collaborate to determine how and when to combine acupuncture, rehab, counselling, manual therapies and herbal or naturopathic support for the best possible results.

About Us

Core Therapies

  • Close-up of a person receiving acupuncture treatment on their back, with multiple acupuncture needles being inserted by a practitioner's hands.

    Acupuncture & Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture

We use body acupuncture, scalp acupuncture and moxibustion to relieve pain, improve circulation and support the brain and nervous system. Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture, in particular, is a highly specialized technique for stroke, MS, cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions.

  • Traditional Chinese medicine ingredients and tools, including glass jars, a bowl of dried herbs, a small mortar and pestle with dried herbs, a paper with Chinese characters, and a brown paper envelope with Chinese writing.

Traditional Chinese Medicine & Herbal Medicine

High-quality, lab-tested herbal formulas in granule and tablet form are prescribed to address internal imbalances, support immunity and complement acupuncture or conventional treatments.

  • Physical therapist assists a man with a knee injury in a therapy session, lying on a table with a blue cover.

Neurological Rehab, Physiotherapy & Personal Training

Targeted exercises and functional training help retrain movement patterns, improve strength and coordination, and make everyday tasks safer and more independent. This is especially important after stroke, MS, injury or long periods of immobility.

  • Two people holding hands on a white table, with a person also holding a cup of black coffee.

    Psychotherapy & Counselling

Registered psychotherapists and a social worker provide individual, couples and family therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship issues and life transitions. A free 15-minute consultation helps you find the right therapist.

  • Person receiving a massage on their back in a spa or therapy setting.

    Massage Therapy (RMT)

Massage therapy is used not only for relaxation, but to reduce pain, improve joint mobility, circulation and lymphatic drainage, and enhance the effects of acupuncture and rehab.

  • A person receiving a vaccination shot in the upper arm from a healthcare worker.

    Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic treatments address joint alignment, spine health and nervous system function, and are often combined with rehab and acupuncture to support pain relief and better movement.
