What to Expect When You Start Care

  • 1. Comprehensive Assessment

    We begin with a detailed review of your medical history, symptoms, goals and lifestyle. This may include a TCM assessment, physical exam and functional testing, depending on your needs.

  • 2. Integrated Plan of Care

    Your practitioners collaborate to design a plan that may blend acupuncture, rehab, counselling, herbal medicine, massage, chiropractic or other therapies—delivered in a sequence that makes sense for your body.

  • 3. Ongoing Support & Prevention

    We monitor your progress, adjust your treatment plan and work with you on long-term strategies for prevention, maintenance and independence.

Treatment Fees

Note: All prices are subject to applicable taxes, except where exempt (e.g., acupuncture, chiropractic, naturopathic, psychotherapy and physiotherapy services)

    Acupuncture, Moxibustion & Laser Treatments

    Initial TCM Assessment (30–45 minutes): from approx. $105–$135

    Follow-up acupuncture sessions: from approx. $125, with extended sessions available for more complex needs.

    Psychotherapy Services

    Free 15-minute consultation with a psychotherapist.

    Individual sessions with Registered Psychotherapist: from approx. $145–$180 per 50 minutes, depending on training and role.

    Social worker and couple/family rates available.

    Massage Therapy (RMT)

    Various session lengths available, with community and standard rates.

    Chiropractic, Naturopathic & Other Services

    Initial and follow-up fees vary by service. Please contact us for the most up-to-date details.

  • In-Home Acupuncture/Physiotherapy/Massage

    Per 1 hour visit:

    Zone A (0-4.9km from clinic): $195

    Zone B (5-9.9km from clinic): $220

    Zone C (10 -15km from clinic): $250

Late Cancellation Policy

To respect our practitioners' time and ensure fair scheduling, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will be charged the full treatment fee, as short-notice changes do not allow sufficient time to offer the appointment to another patient. We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you are unwell or experiencing an emergency, please contact our team as soon as possible so we can support you appropriately. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us maintain a respectful and sustainable clinic environment.

New Patient FAQs

  • You can book online, call 416-901-2873 or email info@mycompletebalance.com. For psychotherapy, you may start with a free 15-minute consultation.

  • Bring your health card (for identification), any relevant medical reports, a list of medications and your extended health insurance details if applicable.

  • It depends on your condition, how long it has been present and your overall health. Your practitioner will discuss a recommended frequency after your assessment.

  • We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. Missed or late-cancelled appointments without sufficient notice may be charged the full appointment fee.

  • Certain psychotherapy and consultation services may be available virtually; please contact us for current options.

Insurance Coverage & Payment Options

  • Many extended health plans cover acupuncture, chiropractic, naturopathic medicine, massage therapy, psychotherapy and physiotherapy, either fully or partially.

  • We recommend checking your individual policy for coverage details, annual limits and any restrictions.

  • Counselling services are not covered by OHIP, but may be covered under “Registered Psychotherapist” or “Registered Social Worker” in your benefits plan.

Payments accepted: Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and e-transfer.

Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Claims

Our clinic is licensed under FSRA (formerly FSCO) to handle Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) cases. We understand that forms and insurance processes can be overwhelming when you’re trying to recover.

  • Assistance with treatment plans and OCF forms for minor and major injuries

  • Direct billing of invoices to insurers where applicable

  • Coordination with your lawyer and insurance adjuster

  • Integrative treatment plans that may include acupuncture, rehab, chiropractic, massage and psychotherapy

Accessible Care Program

To help make care more accessible for those experiencing financial difficulties, we offer reduced-rate treatments during designated clinic hours for select services, including acupuncture, chiropractic care, psychotherapy, and registered massage therapy.

Spots are limited, and eligibility is assessed through a short questionnaire to support equitable access.

Community Rates Overview

  • Community acupuncture (assessment + treatment): from $45 - $75

  • Community chiropractic assessments and follow-ups: discounted rates available

  • Community psychotherapy sessions: reduced fees with select therapists

  • Community massage therapy (RMT) sessions (30–60 minutes): discounted rates available
